Pathway to Excellence: Joon No Structured Training ©

THE CONCEPT

Every champion has a beginning, and each student has their own path.  A student does not need to be an experienced competitor to start their training and, although not every student will win a gold medal, every student can optimise their potential and be a champion of their own life.

OUR VISION

We are committed to providing a friendly environment that nourishes team spirit and fosters a positive culture of mutual support. In developing the next generation of JNO TKD Champions, we are not only looking for students who are already champions but are also looking for students who have:

  • Motivation and commitment
  • Discipline and a willingness to work hard
  • A passion for taekwondo with a desire to learn
  • The courage to meet challenges

JNO TKD STRUCTURED TRAINING

With the right training, guidance and commitment, potential converts to performance.

Our Champion Program will develop athletes through:

  • Taekwondo technique
  • Speed & Power
  • Timing & accuracy
  • Fighting IQ, tactics & strategies
  • Fitness & conditioning
  • Confidence, determination & tenacity
  • Competition experience

TRAINING FROM HOME

We understand the challenge of training in Australia: Our students live across a wide geographical area and for many it is difficult to come to the dojang every day, so our Training System will include a structured 20-30-minute Home Training Program.

  • Students will receive a weekly training plan that complements their dojang training
  • This allows dedicated athletes to continue developing wherever they live.

COMPETITION TEAM TRAINING

Our current team training sessions are:

     Wednesday: 7:00 pm

     Saturday: 2:00 pm

These sessions focus on advanced technical development, sparring, tactics, competition preparation and real fighting experience. Home training is designed to consolidate the team training sessions.

THE JOON NO PATHWAY TO EXCELLENCE

Our program gives every student with the desire and commitment to train, the opportunity to discover their potential.

  • Some students will train for fitness
  • Some will train for confidence
  • Some will develop a passion for taekwondo
  • And some may discover that they have the potential to become elite competitors
  • Our job is to find that potential and develop it.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is not simply to produce winners: We want to develop strong fighters, smart competitors, disciplined martial artists and confident people. And our long-term goal is to develop athletes capable of competing at the highest level in Australia and beyond.

The next champion could already be training at JNO TKD …

The question is: Who will be next?
